Nanette Elenbaas and her husband Ron Elenbaas have been members of the Ocean Reef Club for 16 years.  They split their time between Gull Lake Michigan and Ocean Reef.  Ron was a widower when his 2 children were 3 ½ and 8 years old, which Nanette helped raise, and now they have 3 grandsons. Nanette graduated with an Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She practiced for 16 years and specialized in cosmetic augmentation.  She received her black belt in Karate at the age of 60. Nanette was a volunteer for the American Red Cross in Kalamazoo Michigan screening patients for their prescription needs. 

Nanette served on the ORCAT Board for 5 years and co-chaired the CATWALK Luncheon for 3 years.  She has served on The Keys Children's Foundation Board as director, secretary, vice president and president for a total of seven years.  She currently serves on the Ocean Reef Community Foundation's Grant Committee.  In addition to serving as an ORCA Board member, Nanette is Chairman of the Design Committee and is a member of the Public Safety Committee and the ORC/ORCA Environmental Committee.
