Good morning,

The squall line that passed through the Florida Keys provided wind gusts in the 40-50 mph range over the Keys proper through its entire length, although per radar imagery wind gusts may have exceeded 50 mph in the Sugarloaf Key area.  At this time, we have a gap between Boca Chica and Cudjoe Key in measurements.

The peak wind measured in our entire area of responsibility was with the squall line passage at Pulaski Shoal (located a little northeast of Dry Tortugas National Park), at 70 mph.

If you have received reports of specific wind damage, please share with us.  This helps us document damaging storm events as well as gain utility in reviewing forecast/warning services.  We always appreciate your reports.

Thank you,

Jonathan Rizzo
